An online parents’ website has started a petition calling for people to boycott Toy Story 4. The claimed the inclusion of an LGBTI couple in the film ‘blindsided’ them.

In an early scene, the couple appear the background dropping their child off to school. The moms return to pick up their child later the film and embraces her.
The radical website One Million Moms, labelled the couple a move to ‘desentize children’.
‘So many families probably plan on seeing this movie if they haven’t already and will be blindsided by this subtle but obvious promotion of the LGBTQ lifestyle,’ the petition read.
‘Toy Story 4 is the last place parents would expect their children to be confronted with content regarding sexual orientation. Issues of this nature are being introduced too early and too soon. It is extremely common yet unnecessary.’
At the time of publishing the petition had 13,300 signatures.
One Million Moms included a message to Disney in the petition.
It read: ‘I do not appreciate Disney including LGBTQ content in the children’s movie Toy Story 4. There has been a deliberate lack of mentioning this content.’
‘Therefore, families are blindsided intentionally by your company. Actions such as this make me continue to distrust Disney,’ the message read.
Disney has made moves to include more LGBTI content in its films recently, even some commentators have suggested the studio has not gone far enough.
