I can totally relate to this. Never thought of Tobias as Trans but it makes a-lot of sense now, I can connect the dot. I for sure related to the never being about to tell your parents a secret that is slowly eating you up inside. Being afraid of violence if it was ever known what was going on when I was alone in my room. Wondering how I was going to live this lie of being a boy, and doing all the things boys do when they grow up made me extremely sad. It felt all pointless and un-fullfilling. I am so glad I have Animorphs when I did to comfort me when I did. Give me a place to hide for a day from myself. It was one of the things that saved my life for sure.
